Slide show not working on MEP 2022

joserobles1941 wrote on 1/3/2023, 8:00 PM

While working on MEP, version 21.0.2.138 when trying to use wizard slideshow this notice shows up not matter how many times I have tried to make it work.

It does, however , work on MEP 2017. Ever since upgraded it to 21.0.2.138, I have had a lot of issues beginning with installation which took me almost a week to complete; followed by failure to work with New Blue titler which I had to downgrade to previous version on the advise of New Blue support; and now this...I wonder if I am the only one having so many issues. Please help me to find solution to this latter issue hoping it is the last one.

Thanks in advance,

José Robles

Hi José

In the Project settings, Movie tab, is the number of tracks is set to at least 8 or more tracks then are currently used/occupied, eg if 32 tracks are in use then set the number of tracks to at least 40, preferably to the next higher preset number of tracks

Also ensure that no tracks are locked to prevent moving of the objects.

Thank you John,

I did as you told me and it worked. The only thing is that I changed settings to 40 tracks and it did work only once. Next time I had to do it again. Default is set to 13 and it goes back to that everytime.

Best regards,

José Robles

@joserobles1941

I have never seen a default of 13! Or do you mean 16?

Go to File>Settings>Movie>Movie Settings and set the number of tracks as shown below:

Clearly mine is set to 32 but you can choose any of the radio button choices or even, I think, a customised one by entering a number into the box immediately below "Number of tracks".

Hi

. . . . The only thing is that I changed settings to 40 tracks and it did work only once. Next time I had to do it again. . . . .

To add to @emmrecs comment - ensure the Use settings as preset for new movies is checked.
