Unfortunately, your post does not really help us to help you!
If you are asking whether you can use Movie Edit Pro to create a slideshow, the answer is Yes, but if you do not currently own the software and are unlikely to use it for video editing then tale a look at Photostory Deluxe, which is a simpler and cheaper software for creating slideshows.
So, please tell us a lot more about what youa re actually wanting to do.
Appreciate your comments. At the moment i'm a bit lost. I want to create a slide show for a tribute but would appreciate something easy to use but of great quality. I paid 39.00 for something but not sure now what I purchased. Please let me know what I should do next.

We really need to know what you purchased if we are to be able to help you!!
39.00 dollars, euros, pounds sterling?? That price would suggest you have bought something like Photostory (I don't think any variant of Movie Edit Pro is available at that price).
Have you actually installed on your computer whatever you bought? If so, open the program and tell us what is is called.
My order number is Removed by Moderator This is amazing ...not use to this kind of service..sorry for all my confusion.looks like I purchased photostory deluxe and music maker on my other computer
For PhotoStory, see the tutorials on the Magix.com site. Download and start reading the manual, especially the QuickStart chapter.
PhotoStory is almost the same as Movie Edit Pro; it just has a different look and less features than Movie Edit Pro. Watch Movie Edit Pro tutorials to get a better idea as to how to edit videos. A slideshow created using PhotoStory ends up being a video. You can have photos and video clips in a PhotoStory project.
Music Maker is free, so unless you actually paid for the Plus or Premium edition, you will have the free version. See the Magix.com website for tutorials about Music Maker.
Once you have Photostory fully installed and have downloaded all the additional content that is available (click on Help>Free download) you should then access the built-in Help documentation under the Help menu. There is also a link on that same menu to download a pdf manual.
Another very useful source of information is the tutorials for the product which can be accessed here. I would suggest starting with the one titled "Getting started: MAGIX Photostory".
If you encounter specific problems feel free to post back but make sure you give us as much detail as you can about what you are wanting to do, what you have tried so far and with what results.
