SL4 not registering correctly

Hi everyone, I'm new to the Magix version of the forum although I've been a Spectralayers user since version 1. I installed version 4 on my laptop yesterday (after using it successfully on my desktop machine for a couple of weeks) and, although it didn't register properly (it also didn't fully register on the desktop machine), the program opened, as it said it would. Today, however, I attempted to open it again. Fail! It wants to be registered again except that during today's attempt, the registration process becomes non-responsive. So, it seems like I'm dead. Any solutions out there? Thanks for all help!

Hi Doug,

Try the online registration again. If it doesn't work for you, then you can do the offline registration:

Click Activate program offline then click "Activate Offline" and Open Form...

It will show you a form with a Computer ID. Keep that Computer ID.

Then go to http://www.magix-audio.com/us/support/ and click the button for Samplitude, Sequoia and SpectraLayers Pro, login if necessary, then go to My Products. If SpectraLayers is not listed there, go back and register it first by going to Register Product. Once registered, go back to My Products, and here you'll see a link to Create a new activation next to SpectraLayers. You can then enter your Computer ID to generate an activation code, that you can use back in the offline registration dialog and click Enter Activation Code.
