Simple problem: how do I disable to the yellow looping bar at the top?

OK. It's just that it appears to turn on by default every time I open MMM. Is there a way to disable this? I've saved the project with it unselected but it's still there the next time.Sorry, I realize I wasn't very clear regarding my issue at first.
