Real simple. I've opened up an audio file in SF, & set an in & out point. How do I export just that segment? When I export (save as), the whole timeline is exported, not just the segment I marked in/out, & I don't see an option to export selected audio, like I can in Audacity.
Welcome to the Magix Sound Forge users community @Marc-Serafin.
Method 1. Highlight the segment you want and click "Insert> Region" (or R key); then choose "Tools> Extract regions". New file(s) will be created from the regions
Method 2. Highlight the segment you want as a new file, choose"Edit> Trim Crop" and "Save as"
Method 3. Copy> Paste to a new file will work as well.
Addendum, I do not think 'Audio Studio' has the 'Extract regions' function.
