This behavior is usually a plug-in that has not been activated and is in a 'trial' or 'demo' mode. Most of the third-party plug-ins that are included with Sound Forge Pro and Audio Studio (iZotope's Ozone Elements for instance), need to be activated separately and have a unique activation code which should be in the email that was sent to you when Sound Forge was purchased.
