shuttle control // preview/playback audio faster speed? (magix 2023)

How do I preview my video - WHILE playing back the audio?

I don't remember if magix did that before (I installed the "update", so hope that isn't something they disabled, it's annoying when they make things crappier with "updates")... Anyways...

a) I have my video loaded with an audio file.
b) I'm "previewing" the video - but it doesn't seem to play audio faster. How do I get it to play the audio in conjuction with the video clip? In the previous app (movie studio platinum) - I could just speed up/slow down. Magix 2023 "seems" to have that (i.e., the 'j' 'k' or 'l' buttons, or the little slider bar below the window) - but it is not playing audio...

c) Also - how do I "save" my shuttle control settings (i.e., if I want to play the video at 2x the speed) - right now it seems I have to 'hold down' on the wheel, and it just 'resets' once I stop holding down with the mouse.

Any suggestions? Thanks very much!

Hi

This topic will be closed as issue b relates to your other topic on the similar.

With respect to the Shuttle - assuming you mean the on screen shuttle control bottom of the preview monitor - you can't.

If you mean a Shuttle such as the Contour Shuttles read the manual that came with it and the help forum/FAQ on the manufacturers website.
