Hi,

Yes that will be wise if you could un install previous version.

A point of advice, if you got intention to use MMM 17 Premium in commercial work then sorry, License terms have changed you must read license terms before you uninstall MMM 16 Premium.

In case of home use no worry.

Thank you

Thanks nihon94 for your quick response.

Do you know what is the best way to uninstall MM 16 Premium ? Can it be done from the install disc or does it need to be done from uninstall programs in control panel ?

Hi,

The best way is to use Add and Remove of Windows yes even from Control Panel or any way you prefer easy.

However if you click Music Maker 17 Premium from All Programs you can also delete using un install.

Note: after un installing go to the Program folder and if there is any file or folder left delete manually.

Usually C:\\Program Files\Magix Music Maker_Basic 16 (etc) and if you know where your Program Data folder is better check for Magix and delete. Some time left behind files create problem when we install new version.

If need help send message.

If you are new please read the Pdf tutorial, it will also give you some hints.(text and photos)
