Hi, I am new here and hope to learn from you guys and share my experience.

I got Music Maker 16 and I am feeling that the Styles provided in the software are less.

According the Magix website the Premium version got more sounds the question is if I buy sound pool it will cost almost $40.
So, any experienced or senior user here would you please guide me,

Would it be better to upgrade to Premium version or should I buy extra sound pool dvd?

Your reply will be appreciated.

Thank you

Yes, you are correct that the soundpools in the basic versions of MMM leave a little to be desired.  This is intentional.  That is how MAGIX entices you to purchase upgrades and other soundpools.

Assuming the Basic version of MM-16 can be upgraded to the Premium version (very likely, but I don't know this for a fact), that would be your best option. There are two reasons...

The Premium upgrade will give you all of the same soundpool styles as you would get on the Soundpool 16 DVD.  (You do NOT need to buy the Soundpool 16 DVD if you purchase the Premium upgrade.)

Plus, the Premium upgrade will also provide you with additional features that buying only the Soundpool 16 DVD will not provide.  (See the MAGIX website for details.) For instance, the Premium upgrade will give you access to the Revolta 2 synthesizer.  It is likely that some of the Soundpool 16 DVD sounds would not be usable without it.
