For the newest version of MAGIX movie edit pro, once I put clips into a project is there a way to shorten more than one clip at the same time?
Why have you posted the same question twice? Please do not do this. Your other post has been hidden.
Assuming you mean you have clips, placed consecutively on a single track or pair of tracks then No, you cannot shorten more than one at the same time. I'm honestly not sure how you could be sure you were shortening/editing each clip at the "right place".
If all the clips are on adjacent tracks and thus appear on the timeline in a "vertical column" then it is possible to make a cut at the same point of the timeline on all the clips, but again, I'm not sure why you would want to do that???
