Shortcut key for effects or plug-in chain?

Can I assign a shortcut key to apply a specific effect (or plug-in chain)? How do I do that?

I am not sure about Audio Studio. In Sound Forge Pro, costume keyboard commands can be created for 'some' Fx processes in the "Options> Customize keyboard" menu
Theusre are plug-in chainer shortcuts available in the "Options> Customize keyboard> Plug-in chain" If that does not work, another option is to write a script with a specific Fx or Fx chain, a keyboard shortcut can be assigned to that in the Customize keyboard> Script editor"

Toolbar icons are another possible shortcut option for some Fx, as is the new 'Instant Action' (View menu). though it needs to be more user assignable.
