Using Sound Forge Version 12.1 build 170 on Windows 10 and when recording tracks always seem to get clicks and pops throughout. Some days worse than others. I know that I can use the draw tool, zoom in and delete(most cases leaves another "bump" sound when doing this) and the "Remove Clicks And Clacks" in Tools, but leaves the track, most times, with that over processed/squished/in a can sound. Anyone else having these issues commonly? Are there some settings overlooked? I'm not really familiar with windows but am suspicious that with all the background activity that windows does, it may be the culprit...?
