SF 14 upgrade crashy, and not consistently rendering properly

Howdy,

I recently upgraded from SF 10 Pro to SF14 Pro Build (43) 64 bit version. I'm on Windows 10. So far, it seems pretty buggy. At first it crashed often. If I try to preview Mastering or Chainer features, the sound will distort, echo, buzz or not play at all. If I apply a plugin chain it stops playing the audio. Today, I was trying to render .frg files as .wav and it saved (or loaded them, I'm not sure which) as flatline audio files with only a few blippy artifact type things and nothing else. I'm getting frustrated because I really want this to work. I love SF10 Pro an I like the workflow options for SF14. The things I'm experiencing just seem buggy and not necessarily user error. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice.

Welcome to the Sound Forge forum @Ezekiel-Robison

Try a different audio device,. The Windows Classic Wave device driver is typically trouble-free.
(Options> Preferences> Audio)
To render a PCM or other audio file from the SF project <.frg>. choose "Render as" in the "File" menu.
