Setting up Mixer Inputs

Greetings! Long time user, first time poster here.

I am looking for some guides on setting up my mixer channels to work with acid pro. I am using a presonus arc12c, and I have not been able to find anything specific to this device.

I guess I also have a few questions to go with that as well:

Will my mixer's faders show their status in Acid?
Is multitrack recording really cursed? Some guides I have found so far haven't explained anything.
Tips for recording multi live in a semi studio space

@Mike-Ferland It's all explained in the help file. Check the chapters "How Do I Record Audio from an External Source?" and "Using a Control Surface".
