Hi. I have version 7 of the magix video pro x program. And I'm doing a video project but I'd like to apply fade effects to the photos randomly, but I'm not succeeding. Is there any possibility to do this? Thanks.
This is how we do it in later versions of MEP, which you could try:
Set up your fade on one image.
On that image, right-click and choose "Video Effects>Copy Video Effects". You'll be presented with a box showing the current effects on that image (your fade will be shown); untick the ones you don't want to copy, then click Continue.
Using CTRL-Click, select the images you want to apply the fade to.
On any of the selected images, right-click and choose "Video Effects>Paste Video Effects". The pasted fade will be applied to all of your selected images.
I presume that you mean random transitions and not fades.
In VPX7, which I still have, select the second clip, click on the A/B transition button at the beginning, second from the bottom select "Random transitions in the track." The transition length will vary depending on the effect.
VPX12 and 13 allow you to select/deselect transition groups and individual transitions to limit the random transitions to just those that you want. This helps.
