You wouldn't use the .MVM file. It doesn't acutally hold the video and audio data and it's a proprietary format. You need to get your slideshow exported to an actual standard video format. In the final stage of the Slideshow Maker thingy you got the "Create video and view it" button to render the slideshow to a WMV file. That should be more useful. Of course, whatever module you use to actually embed the video clip as screen saver into your Windows needs to support WMV.
