Scan VST Plugins

I would like to know if there is a way for Sound Forge to stop scanning plugins every time the program is opened.

Right-click the Sound Forge shortcut and add _/NOVSTGROVEL after the path unquote in the target field. Confirm there is a space (_) as well. for instance, see the shortcut target path for SFP-14 on my Win 10 PC below:
"C:\Program Files\SOUND FORGE\SOUND FORGE Pro 14.0\Forge140.exe" /NOVSTGROVEL)

There is also a command in the hidden 'internal' menu but appending the SF shortcut is faster/easier IMO.
