hi

i know i said i wanted to try this solo but i encountered a problem..im using the cleaning agent and its working very well for me..the problem is saving the songs to the new file after i clean them up.there r 4 options in there.i process each song by listening to each cleaning tool as it processes it..after each tool finishes..i hit ok..them i go up to the top of the software under file  and click on "save project"..then i hiT export thinking the song is saved to its new sound..then when i play it back it sounds like i never did anything to it..im not using what they say to use im going step by step and i like the results..can anyone give me some pointers?for me this step by step is a very good way to go..just have to figure out this problem.thanks

The ACL program I have, on Export you see 2 options, Burn a CD or save as a wav./MP3  file.  What happens to you when you hit Export ?  No options for you ?

Hi Lenny,

After saving your project, click on Export, then select MP3 files and then export your file.

Go to the file with Windows Explorer and double-click on the mp3 file to open it with Windows Media Player. Listen to it. It should be as per your cleaned version. Remember, I told you to make a test file, add a cleaning or mastering paramter that dramatically changes the sound, then export it, open it and listen to it. Do not use ACL to listen to the final files. ACL is for cleaning, not listening to the final product.

If you want to make another test, load your test song into ACL or open the project. Click on your song. Click on Mastering. Turn on the Reverb/Echo tool. Listen to it. There should be a very noticeable reverb. Click on Export and export to an mp3 file as indicated above. Open it and listen to it with Windows Media Player. It should have the reverb. See below:

Make sure that you don't turn off your effects before exporting.

Finally, you can also export by going to File, Export audio which will take you to a list of possibilities, including Wave, MP3, AAC, Windows Media...
