Saving files

I save a project as an MP3 file, but when I try to play it all I get is an error message (it is being used by another ......) I have to restart the computer in order to play it.

The sound loop instrument lists suddenly disappear. In order to bring them back I have to minimize then maximize the window ??

The complete message would help in determining the issue you are having.

Do you mean:

The exported mp3 file is being used by another . . . . . ?
The audio device is being used by another . . . .

If neither of the above - what is the 'another . . . .' ?

Hello John. Sorry to have been a little vague. The strange thing is that after reading your comment I went back into Magix to read the actual words, but it works OK now and hasn't done it since.? if it does happen again, I will repost with a little more clarity. Thank you for your interest in my post and willingness to help.
