Saving Effects

Hello friends,
Is there any way with which I can save the many effects, templates that I make on my film.
For example I make an effect that I used it for one of my films (Example: Many clips on top of another). Now if I want to re-use the same effect, I have to again do the same hard work from the very begining. So I was wondering is there any way where I can save these effects of mine and then re-use again when there is a need instead of re-working again for the same.
Regards.

Hi.

Not entirely sure about this but there is a facility to save User Effects or "My Presets".  I've never used this nor does a quick search of the help files reveal how or what can be saved there!  A quick look in the printed manual for VPX4 says, (under "Effects>My Presets in the Media Pool", not altogether helpfully (!!)), "Your personal effects configurations in the Media Pool can be saved and applied again later"  - fair enough - but what it does NOT seem to tell you is how to save such configurations.

Sorry not to be more helpful!

Jeff

Hi Anirban,

I am putting together a detailed example on how to do this which I will post on youtube probably tomorrow, just working on the audio track.
