Samplitude X8 - Setup

Samplitude X8 - Grid setup, snapping to grid and samples automatically matching set BPM.

Evening all,

I've been using Acid 11 for a while now but I'm getting annoyed with VSTs not working so I'm looking at switching to Samplitude X8.

When I open a new project in Acid the grid is already there with a default BPM of 120. I can then drag samples on to the grid which snap to it and if a samples BPM is slightly different it automatically changes to the set BPM.

I am playing around with a trial version of Samplitude X8 at the moment which appears to have a different way of doing things. Is there a way I can have this setup in Samplitude X8 and if so how do I set it so it is the default.

Thank you.

@Wistmans-Wood

I think you might be best advised to register at and repost your question to the dedicated Samplitude Pro forum here since there are many more users of that software who post there but do not visit here.
