Samplitude registration

I am trying to install Samplitude Pro 3 on a new computer Windows 10. The registration window thinks it's an upgrade. It is not. I have the purchased boxed edition. I had installed it on another computer 2 years ago and have deactivated it. Please help.

Can you make a screenshot of your registration window message? (Without your serial of course!)

Are you installing it from the DVD? You could try to download Samplitude Pro X3 from here https://www.magix.com/us/support/pro-audio-downloads/

Maybe that installer works better.

Yes it's a DVD. I forgot to mention it's Pro 3 Academic version. I uninstalled it, reinstalled it and it worked. Thanks!
