Samplitude pro x4 Suite

Hi. Please tell me how to connect the Zoom R24 to the Samlitude pro x4 Suite (Build 236, 64 bit)? I can't connect the controller function and I can't use all 24 tracks.

When I click on a note in the piano roll view of the midi editor I get no sound? very annoying when trying to edit. I'm sure it is something simple but I have tried everything I can find but no luck. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
