Samplitude pro x3 couldn't import audio file with non-English file nam

Hi,

I bought it for few years ago while it was on sale and it is not my primary DAW. Few days ago, my friend sent me an audio wav file which was using "Chinese" characters (big-5 code), I think. SAM didn't recognised it so it couldn't load the file into the project. Same case happened if the file name was using "Thai" characters.

Anyone of you encountered same issue and have a workaround to suggest? Or is it the limitation of SAM?

Regards!

I can confirm that this is a "limitation" of Samplitude. Any exotic character (I experienced this with Serbian file names) leads to problems loading or saving files. Even if only the folder name contains such characters Samplitude has problems.
