Samplitude Music Studio 2023 and 2020 Audio Engine error

I have been using Magix Samplitude for many years and I have recently received the following error.

"The audio engine (shared mode) or audio endpoint device (exclusive mode) does not support the specified format."

I can for some reason record audio from my mixer and I can hear everything, but this error only recently started and I have tried everything that I can think of including reinstalling everything. On top of that, when I want to record any VST synth, I can not hear or monitor what I am playing. I 1st have to record what I hope is the correct notes and can only then hear the synth part on playback.

As I mentioned, I am not new at this program(s) and now I am considering changing over to Cubebase or Ableton.

Any Ideas?

Thank you

@duffylaudick Select an ASIO driver in the Samplitude audio settings and set the monitoring mode to Mixer FX Monitoring Hybrid Engine.

Well, it worked for a second. Closed out the program and restarted it and now I get nothing. SMH.

@duffylaudick Screenshot of your settings would be helpful.
