I just purchased a RME BabyFace Pro FS. When choosing the AISO drivers in Sound Forge Pro 16, the playback is fine. I cant get Sound Forge to record using the AISO recording drivers, i have to use the windows classic wave driver. How can i get the RME AISO drivers to record?
I do not specifically have an RME interface, but in general, set the Windows (Recording) sound settings so USB (RME) is the default recording device. Then confirm Sound Forge audio device (Record) is set to the desired input (Options> Preferences> Audio).
btw, seasons greetings and welcome to the Magix Sound Forge users community @v-k7127.
Thanks for the response. The RME is set as the recording device in windows sound setting and the RME is selected as the interface in Sound Forge but will not record unless i use the windows classic wave driver.
