Try the following:

Select:

  1. Open with
  2. Choose another app
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the list
  4. Select More apps
  5. Samplitude should be in the list - select it
  6. Check Always use .... to open VIP files
  7. Click OK

Thank you. The VIP now opens in Samplitude. Why do HMP files still show in Music Maker and does it matter?

Check the .HMP file association, they do not appear in my Music Maker.

I converted the HMP in exactly the same way. The icon now shows Samplitude, so I assume I'm ok. I'm going to run a quick test before I edit for hours and find out something is wrong. Thank you!
