[resolved] Automation curves?

I have Music Maker 2020 EDM edition - my installed version is 30.0.5.47

Looking through the manual I see there's a section on adding Automation Curves however, this feature doesn't appear to be available to me.

Do I need a different version of the software?

It used to be under fx. Click the track fx button and choose the parameter you want to automate - volume, pan fx level etc.

Yes, thanks, but I've checked there. It's described in some detail in the manual but I can't activate it.

I'm assuming I need to upgrade to a different version.

Seems odd that the manual doesn't mention it's only available for certain specific versions.

It used to work in the free version - certainly in 2020. Perhaps it's changed with the latest version

Hi,

Are you trying to do object or track automation?

If object automation, this can only be done on audio objects, not MIDI objects.

Right-click on an audio object and you should see Automation on the list and a popdown with selections.

For track, you turn on the track volume curve first. Right-click on a blank area of a track and select Display Track curves, and select one, like volume.

Do you not see any of these?
