Rescue Your Vinyl & Tapes

I've been looking at this product to buy as it looks super and everything I need but.... my laptop does not have a "line-in" socket, it only has usb connections.  I cannot find on the product details if you can use a usb connection with your hardware and whether this comes with the product or whether one has to buy it separately.  Anyone who has this great looking package that can help with an answer, I would be grateful, thank you.

(p.s. I've had to list this under another product category as the option for MAGIX RESCUE YOUR VINYL & TAPES doesn't come up)

The Rescue Your Videotapes package comes with a litle device that convert your RGB (video cables) to USB so you shouldn't have a problem.

Hi.
I have Audio Cleaning 12 deluxe - very pleased with it. If you have no line-in socket to the sound card, you might have a pink/red microphone socket that might work.

I asked one or two questions about the software before I bought it, using the  Contact link at the bottom of the page. The person replying to my queries (on several occasions, regarding various topics) has been Ralf - he's very helpful.

(Or go to http://support.magix.net , log in and click on "Email support" in the left-hand menu.)
Hope this helps.

From the product page at http://www.magix.com/uk/rescue-your-vinyl-tapes/detail/

From this and the picture then yes - Sound is sent via USB and you don't need a line-in connector.

Actually it is this feature that made me pick 'Rescue Your Video Tapes' - it puts sound and vision through USB.

Cheers,
