Renew the Update Service

Hi Everybody,

I am using Web Designer 18 Premium. Serial: Removed by Moderator Computer O/S is Windows-10

The update service is valid through to March 23-2023.

My issue is that each time I start a new instance of this program, a Pop-Up will request to "Renew the Update Service". When I press the <Start Installation> button, I will get a Windows Account Control dialog box and will choose the <Yes> button . The dialog box closes right away but does NOT appear to actually run.

This will happen each time I start a new session with Web Designer.

  • I have disabled all anti-virus apps.
  • I have reinstalled the program
  • Xara Web Premium 18 is approved through my firewall.

Yet, each time I start a new session , I'll see the Pop-Up request to "Renew the Update Service".
What can I do to resolve this?

Many Thanks,

Paul

@jPaulB

These are user to user forums with almost no input from any Magix staff. Confidential data, like your serial key should never be posted to a public forum like this one. Hence your post has been edited.

There have been several posts recently in the forums with a similar problem. You are being invited to update the Update Service software itself, not WDP. I can’t offer you a solution unfortunately, I’m unsure whether any other user has been able to resolve it.
