Render time 2015 movie edit premium vs 2016 movie plus

Same exact file, an hour and a half interview. Export a 1280x720 takes 6 hours in 2016 movie edit plus vs 1.5 hours in 2015 movie edit premium. Tried several settings. Always impossibly longer in the new version. What gives?

We need more information:

Computer specification - please be specific include graphics card/chipset used

Windows version and whether 32 or 64 bit?

Are the program settings the same for both versions of MEP?

Are you using the Default (Intel HD) or MainConcept codec and is it the same for both versions?

If you have a NVidia graphics card, is MEP set to use it exclusively - see this post.
