Renaming patches created on VST synths.

Steven-Wood wrote on 11/24/2019, 6:15 PM

Really enjoying the MMM 2020 premium.

Issue..... I have spent some time creating some sounds of my own using the VST synths (using the presets as a starting point) and saved them with new file names.

When I have later re-loaded my new presets, they load into the synths but the original name of the preset is displayed.

Is there a way to avoid this happening.

Cheers.

Think I sorted it out myself. Cheers.

@Steven-Wood

Hi

What is the solution? It would be useful to know for other users who want to do the same.

So …. I was using the wrong "save" option.

I was using the "save patch..." option under the Plug-In dialogue......should have been using the "save as" or "save to my favourites" option ( found by right clicking the drop down arrow in the Patch Name box)
