More detail on which title template/caption/subtitle you are using, options you are selecting, there track position ie above/below other tracks containing video images or both and any effects you are adding to the titles/caption - a screen shot of the timeline would help.
In addition to Jeff's comment in your duplicate post on the same topic, without answers to the questions asked it is making it difficult for us help you.
Hi guys! Oopps! Really sorry for posting the same question twice! was just out of frustration! I'm sure the answer to my question is a pretty easy one..but just annoyed I can't seem to work it out myself!..I have subtitled loads of video's using previous versions of MAGIX ..but can't ever remember having this (in the grand scheme of life..a very minor problem!) until I upgraded recently!
browj2 - thanks for taking the time to reply, much appreciated! and YES! I have updated to the latest patch.
johnebaker - again, thanks for taking the time to reply! I'm using version number 17.0.2.166/ Windows 7/
I have attached a screenshot of the project I'm working on..It's a show my GF and myself wrote from scratch for her Primary 2 class ...but some of the script is a bit inaudible hence the need for subtitles. I just want the words WITHOUT the black background (if possible).
I'm sure the answer is in the Title editor somewhere!!!!!!!!!
I cannot reproduce this, however I have seen this issue before and looking closely at the the image above there are a couple of points which are puzzling me:
there appears to be 2 instances of MEP running, this is clearer in the first images you posted - is this correct?
the Windows desktop taskbar looks odd - is this running on a MAC using Parallels or dual booting the OS?
. . . . but some of the script is a bit inaudible hence the need for subtitles . . . .
Looking at the audio track the waveform looks like the audio is severely clipped due to overload - was there a loud audio source near the camera?
