What do you mean? Are you getting a red x instead of a green checkmark? Then you have a typo in your serial. Or are you getting a error message?

There is a red x even before I type first number

That's normal. You need to type all symbols of the serial into the window before the green checkmark appears. If you copy and paste be careful that you don't copy invisible symbols like spaces.

Since you already registered Sound Forge on your old computer you'll find your serial number in your user account on Magix.com

Maybe try copy and paste it from there to avoid a typo.

It worked, but The Ozone plug-in is gone

SP. wrote on 9/12/2020, 10:26 AM

Since Ozone is a separate program you should be able to download it from your iZotope user account.

The iZ Ozone and RX installers are in the Sound Forge Pro <soundforgepro14_dlm.exe> main installer file, just check-mark the items you wish to install. The Ozone registration procedure initiates when the Ozone the plug-in is opened.
SF does not need to be reinstalled, so uncheck that.

btw, welcome to the Magix Sound Forge users group @Anders-Dahl

The Ozone9 seems to install correktly, but it doesnt ask to reg.

If the programs were on your hard drive before it crashed, you might consider using a program like File Assassin to remove any program remnants before reinstalling.

I does not start? How are you initiating it, If you are not using it in an Fx Chain, you need to add it to the Fx Favorites folder. "Fx Favorites> Organize" Drag it to the 'Favorites' folder from VST.

This is assuming you have Sound Fprge Pro. AS (Audio Studio) or other would differ some.

Anders-Dahl wrote on 9/12/2020, 1:07 PM

There is a sektion: "mastering" with "modern master" "smooth limiting" etc. But they are all grey

Anders-Dahl wrote on 9/12/2020, 1:11 PM

And when I pres them, it says " Effect Ozone 9 not found, scipt cancelled"

rraud wrote on 9/13/2020, 5:44 PM

In "Options> Preferences> VST Effects", confirm that one of the ''VST Search Folders' points to where the Ozone VST <.dll> file is. Many VST plug-ins are put in "Program files> Steinberg" by defaut, Confirm it is listed in the SF's VST directory and it is check marked.
