Registration Code Does NOT work

Hello,

I had to replace my hard drive. I saved all my files and I am trying to reinstall Xara Designer 12. Here's what I see when I type in my serial number and email... Everything looks good and I get green check.

But then I get this message:

The serial number you entered is invalid. Please contact MAGIX support.
Error Code -14

I sent an email to customer support. NO response is several days.

Any ideas?

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

The meaning of error code 14 is explained on this page, so are you certain that the code you are entering is for the exact version of Designer that you are trying to register?

To which address did you send the email that has received No response in several days?

Hi,

Where are you getting the install program from for Xara v12?

As Jeff pointed out, the serial number is linked to the version. If you are trying to install a different version, you will get an error.

Also, did you change your email address at any time? The one you use has to be the same as the one for your account at Magix.com.
