Welcome to the Magix Sound Forge users forum @Carlos-Ramos.

As I recall, Sonic Foundry Sound Forge 6.0 did not use the SCS (Sony) or Magix internet activation system and needed to be installed directly from the installation disc (or from the files on a virtual CD/DVD drive) along with your activation code, nor do I know if it will run on Win 10.. though experience and other user reports indicate SF-8 and later run OK.

FWIW, you are eligible to upgrade to SF-15 at a discounted price with your SF-6 serial. Contact Magix customer service. email: infoservice@magix.net.

btw, the SF-15 UI is 'basically' the same as the legecy versions, so it will be very familiar and you will not have to spend a lot or time learning a new application.

I also have a downloaded Sound Forge Audio Studio 10 that won't register or activate.

You should be able to re-activate SF-10 online @Carlos-Ramos. The serial code and email address are paired so use your SF-10 serial code and the email address that was used when it was originally registered with SCS. If SF-10 was never activated through SCS, it may not be possible..You can email Magix customer service (infoservice@magix.net) for a definitive answer on this.
Otherwise, the SCS customer registration info was ported over to Magix in 2016-17 so legacy versions can be re-activated on a new PC if needed.
