Registration for the Hub uses your Magix account details, I believe. IOW, you log in to the Hub with your Magix account email and password.
Which feature(s) of the Hub are you wanting to use? At least some, most notably the Text to Speech, are available ONLY to users who have the subscription version of the program, either monthly or yearly.
(Just for your information: having just attempted to log into the Hub on my computer I see that there seems to be a problem at the moment establishing a connection with the Magix server.)
Hi many thanks, I was just wanting the video content, however it says I don't have a valid registration. From your comment it must mean I need to have a yearly subscription. As I am a pensioner and not a professional I hardly use the program a subscription is not relevant. Sad though.
If you are after just the content there are lots of similar sites that are not subscription based nor involve fees such as Vecteesy. You just have to do some internet surfing to find them.
For a free text to speech program there is Panopreter. But again a short internet search should come up with a few more.
Do read the terms and conditions on any of the sites you visit as some could penalise you for using their software for commercial gain on social media platforms.
A subscription is in lieu of paying for what is referred to as the perpetual license, it is not in addition to. You either purchase perpetual or you purchase a subscription, not both.
For the content, with VPX you are allowed to download up to 20 items per month, I believe. It is not unlimited.
Many thanks John, I had magix pro X 2010 and hardly used it I did download content to learn it the content was I believe free or very limited cost. I am 72 and recently bought a drone and thought I would give it another go. While cost is important my original question was how do I apply and where to get the subscription the content panel dosent say
Hi John, I hadn't thought of using other sites for content. Mainly because I am not very good with computers and don't know how to get them into the program if I remember correctly when I downloaded magic content years ago it automatically loaded it into the program I only got this version to learn it more in retirement.
What kind of material are you looking for? Photos, music, sound effects, video clips, other(what)?
Almost anything that you get should be either video, images or audio files. You download and put them into folders that you can remember and easily access, not much different from storing your photos and video files. Do you know how to unzip if you receive a zipped file, and how to use Windows Explorer to create folders and move files around? Using the material is the same as using your photos and videos, just import onto the timeline.
In VPX, Import, there is a mode in which you can create links to folders to make it easy to find material. Let us know if you don't know how to use this.
