constant problems with Magix Music Maker 2016 - on Windows 10
When I go into the libraries of my Magix Music Maker 2016 and upload previously finished audio files I find that many tracks are missing - i.e all the music or some vocal tracks.
There is often an information panel displayed which states that, say, tracks 2-9 are no longer in the file but if I know where they are in their respective folders I can upload them from there etc. (I do not know where they are and would likely load up the wrong file anyway.). This has now meant that I have lost masses of work produced over the last few years now.
It seemed to have stopped when I stopped uploading updates from your company but there were still many instances of crashes meaning that I constantly had to create 4 or 5 back up copies of each track when I'd completed any significant amount of work on them. Also, Sometimes, say, 3 of the back up copies would also go missing which made it prudent for me to make 5 backup copies as I went along. This is highly inefficient and time consuming as a work practice but my main concern now is that MANY of my previously completed files are now without their original vocal tracks.
I would like to upgrade (for free) to see if this update can find my missing work (If that's possible?) but fear I will lose even more of my completed works, currently still available.
Is my music retrievable or have I wasted years on production because of MAGIX poor program efficiency ?
Please advise
