Recover overwritten projekt fi

Mallgan wrote on 10/7/2016, 12:23 PM

I am using Magix Movie Edit PRO and have now been working with two projekt files, dvd 1 and dvd 2. By mistake I have saved the dvd 2-projekt as the projekt 1-project, which menas that the content of the project 1-fie is lost. The project 1-file has now the same content as the project 2-file. The original content of the project 1-file is overwritten by the content of the project 2-file. What to do? I have tried to recover the projekt file 1 using the software  iCareDataRecoveryPro without effect.

Hi

Once a file is overwritten you cannot get it back.

In MEP select File, Load backup project and browse to the folders where the project DVD1 is - you should see some files with the project name and the file ending in _BAKn.MV_  where n = 0 to 9 .  These are the auto save files from the project .

Starting with the latest,  load this into MEP, if it is not the right project try the previous save and so on - with luck one of them wil be a complete or near complete DVD1 project.

Once you have it loaded save the project as normal
