Recording Vocals next to backing tracks already laid down leads to jerky recording and timing destroyed objects.

I have been attempting to get Magic Music Maker 2014 to work correctly and having no luck. Maybe others are having the same problem. I am running windows 7, i7CPU, 6GB, #11, Advanced Micro, AMD Radeon HD 6570.

For some reason there is a lot of jerkyness going on when I record something and I cant get it to stop. I am also losing all my FX on longer projects half way thru. This is becoming really annoying, especially since my parents are always asking me if I have finished my project w/ the software they got for me. They really want to hear a song and I have yet to complete one.

Is there anyway of fixing this?

Thanks, ben

Thanks for providing the info on your computer.  I didn't even see it since I'm so accustomed to people who refuse to provide any information at all. Your computer specs seem more than adequate, although I have no idea what "#11" and "Advanced Micro" pertain to.

Tell your parents to CHILL !!!    (Just kidding!)
