Select a folder which is writeable and not a compressed folder or on a drive that is compressed.
Is there a reason why you have a compressed folder or drive?

I did not know that I had a compressed folder. What do I do now?

Can post a screenshot of the dialog box where you select which folder you are going to save the captured video to?
Which version of Windows are you using?
What is the folder path for the location where you are trying to save to? Eg: c:\documents\recordings
