recording over wave track

my wave track loops after 16 beats, i can record over it, but i would like the wav song to play all the way without looping. How do i set this?

Check the yellow range bar above the timeline is full length of the project, yellow arrow in image below, and turn off the Loop control to stop looping at the end of the range - red arrow in image below.

hi, i lost my sound on the program when i try to join it to my audio interface. i see i am recording, but i cant ear anything, what can i do?

In the Windows settings, Privacy & Security, Microphone option ensute that the Let desktop apps access the microphone is turned on.

In Music Maker settings, Audio/Midi tab check:

The ASIO driver is set Music Maker ASIO
Click the Advanced button and set the Input option to the driver for your audio Interface. If this is also the audio output device, set the Output option to it as well.
