recording not completing

I am recording vinyls in magix rescue vinyls and tapes, but when the moving line gets to the end of the first window it just stops recording even though the record is still playing, what am I doing wrong

It stops at the end of the window? Are you sure? How long are you recording for?

Here's my suggestion: In the recording dialog ("advanced" version), make sure to untick the "Auto recording stop" option. This way, little gaps and low levels in the recording will not be mistaken for an end of the record. Also, make sure you haven't accidentally enabled anything under the "Timer" section.
