recording music from a cassette player into music maker

I just want to record analog into music maker. I can record through the microphone but not directly into the program

How you do this is very much dependent upon your computer's hardware and operating system. So first, please read this post and give us ALL the information requested there. We especially need to know about any audio interface you have, i.e. how you are connecting your cassette player to your computer.
