Recording guitar into music maker 2016

I'm trying to record an accustic/electric guitar into 2016 version of music maker

Equipment is as follows

Marshall AS50D amp

Ephiphone DR-500MCE

Behringer umc22

Pc is a dell precision 3600 with 64gig ram running win10

So I have it configured guitar to amp ,from output on the back of the amp into the umc22, umc is connected to the pc via USB cable and head phones plugged in.

I'm getting very low volume levels when I manage to capture,

Question is have I set it up right ,and is the output from the amp enough to the umc22, I have the gain at max to get a green signal,

I appreciate any help, bare in mind I'm green as grass

@Mark-Anderton Is the Master Volume of your Marshall high enough?

Which output? There's a DI output and a line output. Which input? These things need to be matched otherwise you could get things like low levels.
