Recording Audio - General Question - All MEP Plus and MX Versions

With MEP15+ and MEP16+ using Microsoft XP Pro

When doing a screen recording the only way I can record the "What You Hear Sound" is by selecting the Stereo Mix option to record.

See Attached image at end of text.

I notice that when Vista Home or Windows 7 is installed the Stereo Mix option is not available, so recording the "What You Hear Sound" is not possible.

Please Advise: In a Vista or Windows 7 PC?

How do I now go about recording the "What You Hear Sound" as the Stereo Mix option is not available?

Thanks In Advance

Open the Sounds control panel. by right clicking the speaker icon on the bottom right of the Windows 7 screen. Choose Playback Devices.

Click the recording tab.

Right click on that screen and make sure :Show Disabled Devices" and "Show Disconnected Devices" are checked.

Righth click "Stereo Mix" and click enable.

Then right click "Stereo Mix" and  choose Properties.

Hit the Levels Tab. make sure Levels is set to 100
