Record multiple tracks at one time

I have a Focusrite SCARLETT 18i8 18 In/8 Out USB 2.0 Audio Interface. I still cannot record multiple tracks at one time. This is frustrating. I just have 3 mics on my drums. I want to pan right, pan left, and put the snare in the middle. I have no idea how to do this.

Hi

I presume that you are using Music Maker, you didn't indicate this or the version.

As far as I am aware, you can't record to more than one track at a time in MM. You can record to each channel of one track, so you could use 2 mics. Samplitude Music Studio 2014 allows recording on more than one track at a time.
