IMO there is no such thing as a 'must have'

The choice entirely depends on your musical preferences, fortunately you can preview extracts of the available Soundpools in the Store or on ProducerPlanet the Magix website to to use if the Music Maker version you have does not have a Store tab or you want to buy licences for commercial use.

I would suggest start with the Dance genre and then work from there picking the Soundpools you like and contain the types of beats/instruments which can then be mix and matched to create what you want.

There is also the Magix Magazine which has a dedicated Audio section which has many topics which you may be interested in.
