I replaced a hard drive and re-loaded ACL 2005. I need to register the product to allow to conversion to MP3. THe link is asking for a serial number. This product never came with a serial number. How do I get it activated?

I'm not sure you can still activate the old MP3 encoder. But that's not difficult to work around. Simply export anything as WAV and convert the files with the free tool XMedia Recode to MP3. This tool will also allow you to convert dozens of other audio and video file formats.

@Authorized-User I checked the first link on archive.org. It looks like it was used mainly between 2001 and 2005.
Magix introduced serial numbers with online registration around 2007/2008 which is still used to this day (as seen in your second link).
The old registration system is long gone. I'm pretty sure, if you would contact customer support they would tell you to get the newest version because they cannot reactivate the old MP3 function. So, the external converter should be a good compromise as long as the 2005 version of Cleaning Lab still works fine.
