QuickFX Volume Former & Magix Independence Pro Standard

David-Ovenden wrote on 1/23/2021, 1:07 PM

I have just purchased download version of Samplitude 2021 on special 50% offer. The product downloaded fine but I cant get a download for QuickFX Volume Former (Magix download site says it recognises the serial no but under downloads it says 'none available'. There is another problem with free download of MAGIX independence Pro Standard from www.producer planet.com when I enter the coupon code provided at 'redeem coupon' it says the product costs £10 more than the voucher value (£44.99) - I am not paying extra for product Magix advert I received in email on 18th January says is a free upgrade. Not too impressed!!!

Hi

. . . . QuickFX Volume Former . . . .

Do you mean CoreFx Volume Former?

I would suggest you check that you have downloaded the product that was on offer in the email.

It sounds like you have purchased Samplitude Music Studio 2021 - is this correct? If so then coreFX Volume Former is not included with that product.

VolumeFormer and the Independance libraries are included with Samplitude Pro X5 - see the comparison chart here?

Yes I see what you mean but am certain I downloaded correct version (used the link provided by Magix in their email to download). I checked your comparison chart and it confirms QuickFX Volume former is supplied with what I ordered and that is what they sent a link to in the same email. I agree CoreFX Volume former is part of more expensive version but QuickFX certainly is. Thanks for your comment though (the only one so far). I think it is an issue for Magix to resolve as is their inadequate voucher value for Independence Pro Standard. On latter I see in separate advert for product shows the £10 higher price but that's not my problem (Magix dont appear to know their voucher is wrong or actual price of their product or it's a misrepresentation scam). I still remain unimpressed with Magix so far on this and have not even tried the software yet!!

Further to my last message I forgot to say you are correct that it was Samplitude Music Studio 2021 I ordered and downloaded. The special offer included the addition of a free copy of Indepenence Pro Standard (and they provided link to the Producer Planet site and a voucher code (that worked until I found product was not covered by voucher value and therefore I didnt conclude the transaction or consequently download the product I had been told by Magix I could have as a free gift).

You missed one - Brexit - we now have to pay Import duty on a wide range of goods from the EU.

Hmm thanks for reminding me (I think). Given the email offer was sent to me well after Brexit I dont think that is the reason and even if price had changed (in last day or so?) that doesnt alter the fact thst their offer was for a free copy of the product. Thanks again. David

Hi

I would suggest you email sales at infoservice@magix.net - quote your order number and/or serial number, they may be able to help.
